Michael Moreland
Senior Corporate Security Coordinator |
|
Mike Moreland is the Senior Corporate Security Coordinator for HHB. He is responsible for the development and implementation of policies related to the physical safety of personnel, all property and assets owned by the organization. He also supervises administration and operation of the organization’s security equipment and staff. Additionally, he liaisons with various law enforcement and government entities to insure the organization stays abreast of the best and latest intelligence information and conditions that may impact personnel at home and abroad.
Mr. Moreland has over 33 years of law enforcement experience with Riverside and Sutter County Sheriff’s Departments including Patrol Services, Investigations, Special Investigations [vice/gangs/criminal intelligence/narcotics], Personnel and Corrections. He worked his way through the ranks from Deputy Sheriff to Captain.
Mike holds Peace Officer Standards of Training [P.O.S.T.] certificates for management, supervisory, advanced, intermediate and basic. He has three years of college education with an emphasis in criminal justice and more than 2000 total hours of law enforcement training and functioned as a supervisor or manager in various assignments for over 21 years. Prior to his retirement, he served four years as the jail commander for Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s largest correctional facility having nearly 500 employees and 1200 inmates. |
