Richard VanderDrift

Richard Vanderdrift is the Chief Technology Officer of HHB Inc. Mr. VanderDrift is responsible for the company’s technology strategy and solutions development.
Mr. VanderDrift brings a history of high-profile successes in the commercial software marketplace. He has architected, built, and deployed some of the most successful ERP suites with license revenues of over $100 million including Oracle Financials, Distribution and Procurement. He has managed R&D, Consulting, and Field Support Organizations. In just two years, he created an enterprise application R&D organization of over 200. He transformed the field operations of an ERP applications company from 80% low margin custom programming to 80% high margin training and strategic planning while also allowing the firm to ramp package sales without adding additional field staff.
Mr. VanderDrift is particularly gifted at conceiving, designing, building and launching successful application products and solutions. He has been a leader in developing and deploying new technologies. Some examples are: first IBM System38 (AS400) ERP suite, first high-end ERP RDBMS application packages, first business analyst rules engine tightly integrated into the application suite, first real-time, collaborative web service application engine for B2B visibility and collaboration. He has managed extremely complex projects that involved scores of departments around the world including India and Holland. He has translated products into many languages and platforms. He brings to HHB Inc. the proven ability to create and support the sophisticated yet easy-to-use solutions for large and diverse organizations.
Mr. VanderDrift received an MBA degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a BBA degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. |
